It is such a true blessing to be a Family Photographer in Joshua Tree. I get families from all over who come to visit the park and decide to capture their time here by having a quick little family session. Which means I meet so many people from all over the country and, sometimes, from all over the world.

The Jackson family is one of those families who isn’t from the USA! They’re actually from Australia! While, they weren’t here visiting, exactly, they weren’t here to stay either. I met the Jackson family because the military brought us together. They were stationed here for just a short few years. I had the pleasure of not only getting to know them a little bit personally over that time, but also getting to photograph them before they went back to their home country. If you ask me, that’s pretty cool!
