As a San Clemente Family Photographer, I always knew there would come a day when I'd have to say goodbye to this beautiful ocean town. Life as a Marine Corps wife isn't always easy. There are good and bad days, just like any other wife would experience. However, due to the nature of my husbands job, the odds of us staying in one place for too long is very slim.
We were really blessed to have been able to call San Clemente home for 8 years! I can't even believe it's been that long to be honest. Over the 8 years here, I've met some incredible women. Women who share my love for photography. Women who share my love for life. Women who share my love for the United States Marine Corps and pride we have for our husbands. I've said "see you later" to A LOT of these women over the last 8 years. I've watched the go on to other adventures, whether they were lead to stay in the Marine Corps, or if they were led somewhere else. I've been blessed to call a few of these women not just friend, but sister.
I am blessed to have gotten the opportunity to live in such a beautiful location. And I have been blessed with so many wonderful clients. Some of whom have become more than just clients. I get to be a part of their lives, even if just through Facebook, and I get to share mine with them as well. I cherish this so much.
But the time has come. It's time to move on. To a new adventure. To a new location. I'm excited. I'm nervous. I'm curious. I look forward to being able to offer my services to those in the Twentynine Palms and surrounding area. While I will sure miss the beaches, I am no stranger to creating art in the desert (you may remember my session with Rachel last year).
I'm excited for what lies before me and I can't wait to start creating new things with a completely different landscape from what I'm used to. Thank you for following along on my journey and if we haven't had a session together, I truly hope to in the future! As of December 2017, we will be living the desert life in Twentynine Palms, California. Thankfully, it's only a 2-3 hour drive from San Clemente, so if I'm ever craving the salt life it's just a drive away.
