As a Twentynine Palms Homecoming Photographer, I had the privileged of getting to photograph Brittany's homecoming on Camp Pendleton. Brittany had contacted me MONTHS before her homecoming and insisted I HAD to be the one to capture it. Her sweet messages were so very humbling and appreciated. But because I knew we would be moving, but wasn't sure when, I couldn't commit to her homecoming originally. She held out in hopes that my moving wouldn't cross her homecoming window. Lucky for me, it didn't.
From the moment I met her I knew we were going to get a long. I got to spend time with her and her mom, who drove with her from the East Coast to help her move to her new home on Camp Pendleton. I loved getting to chat with these ladies and get to know both of them a little better. Brittany and I hit it off immediately and I'm just so thankful I was able to capture her homecoming. I am also so thankful her hubby is home safe and sound and where he belongs... in her arms! Brittany and Greg have known each other since they were younger. This being their first deployment together, I'm sure the waiting wasn't easy. But they conquered it together! Welcome home, Marine!
