I remember when Lauren reached out hoping to capture her beautiful season of maternity here in Joshua Tree National Park. She was taking a bit of a solo baby moon for herself. She wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just enjoy the slower movement of this incredible desert.

As a Joshua Tree Maternity Photographer, I like to have a couple maternity dress options for my clients should they choose to wear one of my gowns. So, with my dress options in mind, we met up, she chose her favorite and we got started!

It was such an incredible day with the clouds in the sky. I will never turn down a cloudy day for a session because they can add such beautiful drama to an already beautiful scene.

While she may have felt nervous and maybe even a little uncomfortable in front of the camera in the beginning, you’d never know it by looking at these images. She completely rocked her session, that dress and her flower crown. Her beauty, and the beauty of the life her body was creating only enhanced how gorgeous the desert landscape was.
