I think we know by now how much I LOVE being a Twentynine Palms Fresh 48 Photographer. I was so excited when Lacey and Chris asked me to be apart of these first bonding moments between them and their son, Declan. Their story is definitely an adventurous one.

As a Camp Pendleton Fresh 48 Photographer, one of my greatest joys is getting to photograph an In Hospital Newborn Session! I love these sessions because the world is still so new to the parents, and the baby. I also love when other siblings are involved because their lives are about to change so much, as unaware of the change as they may be.

I love being a Camp Pendleton Fresh 48 Photographer. Being able to capture a new life within the first 48 hours is something so precious, I struggle to find the words to describe it. Babies are already one of my FAVORITE to capture, but when they're this new, this fresh, it's even better!
In hospital newborn sessions are great because, typically, the hospital rooms provide us with plenty of light. I just love that natural light shining through the windows, giving life to my images.
You may remember Alex & Tom's maternity session from a little while back. I was so excited when Alex let me know that little Miss M had made her arrival and that I was going to be able to meet her soon! So, two days after her arrival, I headed up to the Naval Hospital on Camp Pendleton to capture some beautiful family bonding moments. Daddy was so good with her. He kew just what she was wanting when she started to get fussy. Alex did such a great job choosing Miss M's wrap and outfits, including her own gorgeous dark blue robe. I'm seriously in love with how this session turned out and I'm so grateful I was able to be apart of this little girl's first 48 hours!
