Welcome Home, Marine | Twentynine Palms Homecoming Photographer

One of the great things about being a Twentynine Palms Homecoming Photographer is that since moving to this desert, I still get to do what I love… capture memories for families. Homecoming sessions hold a special place in my heart because I’ve experienced 4 out of my husbands 5 deployments. Being a military wife isn’t always easy. The long nights away. The here and there phone calls. The not knowing. It can take it’s toll on a person (the one away and the one left behind). As wives, though, we know that when they come back and we get to experience that long awaited hug and kiss…. it was all worth it.

Becca was my very first homecoming here in 29 Palms. Her hubby got back just as the sun was beginning to set, which created some really pretty sky colors. Seeing her reconnect with her husband, as always, got me a little teary-eyed. I’m a sucker for a good emotional moment and homecomings never disappoint.

While I may be about a year behind blogging (oops), that doesn’t mean I can’t still share this happy reunion! I am always so honored when entrusted with capturing these once in a lifetime moments.

Welcome home, Marine!

To check availability for your own homecoming in Twentynine Palms, send me an email with your significant others’ unit information. I would love to be considered as your photographer!
