As a Joshua Tree Maternity Photographer, I just ADORE those baby bumps. There is something so incredibly special about the bond that has already formed between mother and child before baby is even born.

Megan found me through one our mutual friends, Jennifer. Who you might remember from this session HERE. Having a previous client refer their friends and family to me is hands down the best compliment I could possibly receive.

I was so excited when Megan reached out because 1) I love me some belly bumps and 2) I hadn't done a maternity session in Joshua Tree yet and I was basically dying to! I brought some of my maternity dresses with me to the session and she picked out the PERFECT one to use for the session. The color looked gorgeous with her hair and skin tone and her belly was as perfect as could be.

Originally, Megan really wanted some more romantic photos of her and her husband, Jonathan, because they'd never had any romantic photos of just the two of them. This of course made my heart super happy to be able to provide that for them. I love getting to mix in my couples work with maternity work. I do that normally, even when other children are involved, but this particular session really wanted to focus on that and I was happy to oblige. Of course, we made sure to capture some super sweet moments of big brother as well.
