I’ve known Dani since I lived in Hawaii back in 2007-2009. I had the pleasure of getting to work with her at Frederick’s of Hollywood (one of my favorite jobs). I’ve watched her go from a hardcore tomboy who loved horses and dogs and all things furry, to a woman who can still hang with the boys and still loves horses, dogs and all things furry. Not to mention her desire to help people. Which is no wonder the nurse fell in love with the fireman.

Dani and I had talked on and off about me eventually, one day, being her wedding photographer. I was SO EXCITED when she messaged me and said it was happening! We talked about the date and all the details and before I knew it, I was flying out to San Antonio to do a pre-wedding/engagement session and then their wedding to follow.

I had the absolute best time hanging out with, catching up with, and getting to know Dani & Zack while I was there. The home they are building for themselves. The town they’ve chosen to call home. The friends who bless their lives. It was beautiful to see it all in action.

Their engagement session took place on their land. They have such great space and the mountains in the background were beautiful. We woke up for a sunrise session and grabbed some truly beautiful moments.
