Last year, I had the opportunity to attend The Blissful Maven's photography workshop in Boulder, Colorado. While I don't live in Boulder, I LOVED my time there and would happily travel back there for more sessions. Over the years of our friendship, I've always considered Candice a mentor to me. Not just for photography, but in a lot of my life. I love her and her heart and it was such a pleasure to be able to attend this workshop and assist her.

The town of Boulder was so sweet and gave that big town feel in a small town area. The day before the workshop, Candice and I had a night to take advantage of some of the beautiful scenery that Boulder has to offer. We met with another photographer, Justyna Butler and her husband who have been married for over 17 years. It had been raining on and off on our way to the session and it even drizzled a little during the session. Of course, this made for an AMAZING cloudy sky. They really helped add to the drama and emotion of the moment. It was really beautiful seeing the sun reach out behind those clouds and peek over the mountains.

They were the perfect models for us and their love radiated off of them. They were so comfortable around one another. Something that is usually only achieved over time, or when you've met your true love. They did NOT disappoint. It was such a pleasure getting to meet them, talk with them and photograph them. Being a Boulder, Co Couple's Photographer for a day was a lot of fun and I would jump at the chance to do it again!
